We provide services throughout the year by working with elected officials during the legislative session, targeting implementation during the interim, and building support for strategic goals as the next year’s legislative session approaches.

Legislative Lobbying & Advocacy

• Draft, file and amend legislation for consideration by the Oklahoma Legislature

• Carefully review and identify all bills that impact clients’ interests

• Provide a full-time presence at the Oklahoma State capitol to lobby members of the Oklahoma Legislature, their staff, and other state government officials

Executive Lobbying & Advocacy

• Monitor the board meetings and actions of relevant state agencies, boards and commissions 

• Represent clients’ interests during the development and implementation of administrative rules and actions

• Help navigate the state procurement process from bid to contract execution

Relationship Building

• Communicate past successes and future goals to key decisionmakers in Oklahoma state government

• Develop connections with aligned interest groups to support mutual goals

• Develop strong relationships with key legislative and executive officials and maintain a plan of introductory meetings as leadership changes occur 

Tracking & Reporting

• Organize state lobby registration, compliance and reporting

• Track state legislation and legislative proposals impacting the organization’s portfolio of work

• Report activities through weekly legislative updates and regular communication 

Strategy

• Monitor information sources, relay important details and partner in the identification of objectives to promote future growth in Oklahoma 

• Provide strategic guidance and counsel in the development of a comprehensive government affairs strategy 

• Work throughout the interim to lay the groundwork for successful legislative sessions
